Zeferetfiohte, ca -250 m, Prachtstollen
|
We decided to finish our attempts here. Subsequently, we started to explore a sequence of pitches startingfrom the Bivouac area. Since activities at the bed were tiresome, the shifts in both series were conducted interchangeably. In this expedition, we got to know this series to a level of -680 m, and acknowledged a further development to be possible. On a second bivouac, having taken the equipment back to -900 m, we started to rap-pel down vet another series. Here the cave takes several directions. Earlier, we had encountered a dry series, and this time we started exploration behind the water'. Having passed a tight meander, we stopped over vet another cascade (-992 m). Thus, the cave already has five bottoms.
